The process

What actually happens, step by step

No surprises. Here is the whole thing, from the first phone call to the money reaching your account.

01

You tell us what you need

Call, WhatsApp, walk in, or send an enquiry. Describe what you are planning in your own words — you do not need to know what the loan is called.

02

We understand your situation

We ask about your income, any loans you are already repaying, and your timeline. This is so that anything we tell you is based on your real position rather than a general answer.

03

We help you identify suitable options

We explain what is likely to be available to you, and what the differences actually mean in rupees per month. We will also tell you the questions to ask, so you can judge an offer for yourself.

04

Documentation and processing

We give you the exact list of documents for your case, check that the file is complete, and submit it to the lender you choose. A complete file is the single biggest thing that speeds this up.

05

The lender decides, and disburses

The bank or financial institution assesses your application against their own policy. Approval, the interest rate, the tenure and the final terms are their decision, not ours. We follow the file up and keep you updated until it is done.

Fair question

How long does it take?

Honestly, it depends. A car loan is usually quickest. A home loan takes longer because the property has to be checked. A loan against property takes longest of all, because it needs both a legal check and a valuation.

What we can promise is a realistic estimate once we know your situation — and that we will tell you straight away if something is going to slow it down.

  • The most common cause of delay is a missing document.
  • The second is a property paper that is not in order.
  • Both are avoidable, and both are what we check for.
JPS Finwise is a loan consultancy. Loan approval, interest rate, eligibility, tenure and final terms are decided by the lender and depend on the applicant's profile and the lender's policy at the time.

Shall we talk it through?

Tell us what you need and we will explain your options in plain language. There is no charge for that conversation.
